Pro Tips & Delicious Variations

  • Gomasio is a blend of sesame seeds and sea salt found in Asian markets and natural food stores. Use it as a topping instead of just sesame seeds, but reduce the Tamari.
  • You can add more ginger and garlic to brighten the dish to suit your taste.
  • To emphasize the Thai flavors, substitute crushed roasted unsalted Peanuts for the sesame seeds, and place a pinch of Bean Sprouts and a lime wedge to the side for your guests to add into the dish.
  • Use Red or Yellow Peppers when in season and affordable.
  • Use natural Peanut Butter, which has less salt and no sugar, for a more fresh flavor.
  • For a pretty presentation, use tongues to lift a serving from the pan, and plate it by gently twisting the noodles into a twirling bed.
