Pro Tips & Delicious Variations
- Scared of picking out an avocado? It shouldn't be firm - a little give - and the base end should be soft when you press on it.
- If not eating right away, make a mixture of ¼ t lemon juice to ¼ C water. Sprinkle on the avocado slices to keep them from browning.
- Sandwiches really do taste different based on the order of the layers. Experiment!
- For portability, dice some onion and mash with the avocado, mayonnaise and a few drops of lemon juice; put a layer of lettuce on the wrap to keep it from getting soggy. Add this mix as a spread, then build as usual!
